Refunds and Returns
All sales are final unless a product is defective, in which case product can be replaced or exchanged for a product of equal value.
No refunds, sorry.
Shipping
Orders will be shipped out as soon as possible, usually via USPS. Shipping is generally a flat rate of $5 for most pin orders. Pins are small so shipping 1 or 15 isn't adding much of a weight difference.
Shipping for patches will be cheaper because these are flat and can be mailed for less.
Prints will be more expensive to ship given size and shape of the packaging used to ship.
If you are local (in the Chittenden County area of VT), arrangements for pickup are possible instead of shipping, in which case please contact me BEFORE placing order and I can give you the discount code to remove shipping charge.
Taxes
Taxes are charged in addition to product price and shipping. Per Big Cartel's Automatic taxes page:
"We’ve integrated with TaxJar to automatically calculate and remit U.S. sales tax on purchases shipping to the U.S. & Puerto Rico when selling in USD.
If your shop is also located in the U.S. or Puerto Rico, we require a valid address to make sure we are accurately calculating complicated U.S. tax rules. Lots of Big Cartel shops operate out of garages and second bedrooms — it’s okay to put your home address as your shop location. This info is never visible to customers in your Big Cartel shop.
We use your location, your customer’s shipping address, the cost of all products and shipping in the order, and the products’ tax codes to automatically calculate how much to collect and remit to each state. It’s a complicated calculation, but TaxJar helps ensure all the variables are considered."
